Summer Reads 2019!

As we inch closer to the holiday weekend and the start of Summer vacation, I’m looking forward to those enjoyable reads outside – by the pool, in a hammock, on the porch, ie. OUTSIDE! It may be typical to come up with a list of “beachy” reads – ones that are light, whimsical, and quick. Usually, I have an eclectic group of genres I like to hit for each season. This Summer, I’m sticking to finishing the Outlander series! The ultimate reason is to know what happens with Jamie and Claire up to the latest book. However, I’m still early in the Outlander Podcast listening and they mentioned that they were going to talk about MOBY (Written in My Own Heart’s Blood) in their 2014 episodes and I don’t want to spoil anything for myself even though I LOVE their podcast! Fingers crossed I can catch up and get back in to listening! 🙂 Happy Summer Reading!

Historical Fiction

The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon

A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon

An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon

Written in My Own Heart’s Blood by Diana Gabaldon

  1. I have the tiniest balcony in the world and here it’s still raining and cloudy. I am so desperate for reading outside tho that I just throw on a thousand layers, grab 3 covers and a pliable chair and squueze on that balcony to read :)) Great list you have there!
